Schemel Forum Film Series, University of Scranton
Georgie Roland will be on hand to present The Town That Was at Brennan Hall as part of the Schemel Film Forum Series on Wednesday, November 14.
The Conservation Film Festival
The Town That Was will screen at The Conservation Film Festival in West Virginia on Saturday, November 3rd at 6:00p as part of the Filmmakers Forum in Byrd Auditorium. Producer Melinka Thompson-Godoy will be present for a Q&A after the show.
The Los Angeles Film Festival
The Town That Was will compete at The Los Angeles Film Festival on Friday, June 22nd at 7:00p at the Italian Cultural Institute and Monday, June 25th at 2:30p at The Landmark.
Named one of the Top 10 Film Festivals in the world by the Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide, The Los Angeles Film Festival screens only 11 documentaries in competition each year and offers a $50,000 prize to the winner.
The Philadelphia Film Festival
The Town That Was will screen at the Philadelphia Film Festival on Saturday, April 14th at the Prince Music Theater at 4:45p and on Monday, April 16th at the International House at 7:00p. Tickets are on sale here.
